Linking Accounts to Receive the Same Messages

 

You may want more than one person to receive the same messages sent from a player's team. You can do this by linking another SportsEngine account to the athlete's profile. By doing so, the linked account will receive a copy of all messages sent to the athlete. This would be helpful if a parent has a separate SportsEngine account from their child and would like to receive all messages sent to the child. Also, this would be helpful in situations where parents are in different households and both need to receive the same communications.

How to Link an additional SportsEngine Account

  1. Access your Organization’s SportsEngine Website.
  2. Login using your SportsEngine username and password. 
  3. On the top navigation, click Profile or Household.
  4. Select the profile of the child to which you want to link your account so you will also receive the messages sent to the child. 
  5. Verify that an email address is included in the Contact Information. If one isn't listed, click Add Email Address and enter the email address. This email address will be used to link the accounts together.
  6. On the bottom left, in the Linked Accounts section, click Add. 
  7. Enter the email address that you would like to link and click Send Invitation. Until the other user accepts the invitation, it will display Pending Acceptance by their name in the Linked Accounts section.  
  8. If you would like to CC an email address without a SportsEngine Account, you can add a secondary email address to your account by clicking add a secondary email address.

Adding a guardian to a player

 

Team Admins or Page Owners can add a Guardian on behalf of a player through the SE Mobile App. Just follow these steps:

 

  1. Tap Teams and select the team/roster you wish to manage.
  2. Locate and tap on the “Player” you wish to manage.
  3. In the bottom right-hand corner, tap the blue Pencil (edit) symbol
  4. Tap the Add Guardian (+) symbol.
  5. Enter the “Email Address” of the new guardian.
  6. Once complete, tap the Checkmark (Android) or Save (iOS).

This action will invite the user to accept and confirm the email address entered. Once confirmed, full Guardian Privileges will be granted.

  1. Sign in and go to the Household tab in your user dashboard.

  2. Click on one of the profiles you would like to add a mobile phone number too. 
  3. Next to Profile Information, click the pencil icon
  4. Scroll down to the "Phone" field. 
  5. Input your phone number.
  6. Click Save
  7. On the left-hand navigation in your user dashboard, click on the Settings tab.
  8. Scroll down to Notification Settings
  9. Within the organization that you are affiliated with, on the right side of the page, check the box next to your number.

Notifications will not show the received message itself, but will alert users of messages in their account.


How to Update or Change My Credit Card that is Connected to a Payment Plan

  1. Go to your Registrations tab within your dashboard. 
    • You may need to sign in to your SportsEngine account.
  2. On the right side of the screen, click Order Details. 
  3. Scroll down to your Payment Calendar.
  4. Next to the payment you wish to update your card information for, click Make Payment
    • A new tab will appear.
  5. Choose one of the following:
    • Submit Next Payment: Choose this option if you want to only pay the next scheduled payment.
    • Submit Balance In Full: Choose this option if you want to pay the entire remaining balance.
  6. Choose one of the following:
    • Use Existing Credit Card
    • Enter New Payment Method

If Use Existing Credit Card was Selected...

  1. Click Make Payment.

If Enter New Payment Method was Selected...

  1. Click Enter New Payment Method to continue with adding your new credit card information.

NOTE: If you do not see your phone number or email address under these settings, it means your profile is not a member of a SportsEngine site.

Your account notification settings determine where and from whom you receive messages.

  1. Sign in and go to your Settings tab of your user dashboard.

  2. Scroll down until you see your Notification Settings

  3. Check the boxes next to your email address or phone number to start or stop receiving communication from a particular organization. 

    • If you would also like to stop receiving team RSVP notifications, click on your team under the SE Bar to update your notifications.

    • If you want to remove the organization from a profile altogether, click HERE. 

If you don't know your password, there should be an option at the log in page for the site to send a 'magic link'.  A link will be sent to your email to sign you right into your account.  Or you can do a password reset. 

RTJBL admins cannot reset your password.
